Wow, that's a cool one. Was there more to the story about WHY she was a demon nun? And re: the Conjuring one- I haven't seen THE NUN but I drew her because she was such a terrifying thing in the commercials 😂

I'm reading LONE WOMEN by and WHITE CAT, BLACK DOG by - BOTH OF WHICH ARE OUT TODAY - but you will have to wait on my reviews since I'm deliberately savoring them, because I don't want either of them to end.
My review for now: GO BUY THEM!

What's a perfect double feature for you?

Mine:
IT FOLLOWS followed by (lol) THE GUEST

Both suspenseful, elegant horror movies w/ strong performances, a retro feel, & fantastic soundtracks. And they're different enough & equally compelling, so you'll stay enthralled.

and they're all GOOOOD. Will I get them all read by their release dates? Maybe not, but s'ok because I'm getting HC of the last two which I am MORE than happy to wait for.

Piñata is an entertaining book with well-written characters to root for, action, & some incredibly creepy imagery. It's a decent twist on the possession tale blended w history & mythology, & made for a diverting, fun read. Will definitely check out what Leopoldo Gout writes next.
