MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN (1969): Wonderful adaptation of acclaimed George novel about 12yo Thoreau who runs away from home, studies nature in the Canadian wilderness (So Quebec) and raises a Peregrine falcon. Would make a perfect double bill with the British film KES (1969). 4.5/5
