i was gonna describe how i draw tommy's hair bc i know so many people struggle with it but then i realized i struggle too and . anyways this is just another wip but it shows kinda how i do it

HELLO I THINK I HAVE THE ANSWER
yellow-orange multiply layer with like the shadow color on that shadow part
then that same yellow-orange on an add layer (only the lighter bits r where i used that color on the add layer along with the multiply)
