So, I believe that a ‘redesign’ shouldn’t just be stylizing a character. I took on the challenge of ‘redesigning’ the mlp characters from gen 4, and this is why I made the choices I made.

I love two stage Pokémon lines because they look more like parent and child. Rapidash and Arcanine are two of my favorites.

This scene was one of my favorite to draw simply because of the amount of color I put into it, it came out exactly how I pictured it in my mind. To any artist or storyteller, try to look for a new angle to create color in new ways. Could be a waters blue glow or tinted bottles.
