The worst part is the end twist:
His mom hadn't died at all.
But upon O'Brien losing and having his identity (and existence) taken, he (or perhaps Trueman?) shows up to deliver this last zinger to his family. :')
Takegami: "Okay I got other shows to work on uhhhh Yoshida-san can you make sure to end the show on a high note?"
Yoshida, wringing his hands: "Relax. I'll take good care of the cast. :>"
PLEASE STOP, SHIN YOSHIDA?
YOU HAVE TORTURED THE POOR GUY ENOUGH END THE EPISODE.
Even for Yu-Gi-Oh!:
This is horrifically fucked up to screw with someone's brain THIS MUCH.
Like I said:
We're going into Konaka territory.
Mr.T's mindgames remind me of the shit Juri went through in Tamers.
We suddenly got back into the dark vibes and I genuinely felt shocked most of this episode.
Because oh dear lord Mr. T really went that vile disguising himself as O'Brien's father AND suddenly implying O'Brien himself was responsible for killing his mother.
Jeeee-zus.
I have been waiting since at least episode 102 to do this:
