Silap parents, mereka lebihkan anak pada ilmu dunia, getting the best education, best grades, best schools, but forget about adab.

That's when kids start to melawan parents, start lying and asking others for advice.

Adab > Ilmu, Insha'allah selamat.

Kenapa kita tak bagi buat sekian², why I don't want you going out at night, etc... Jangan just cakap no no, tak boleh without explaining. All kids want is to have fun with friends.

At a certain age kids would prioritise friends over parents.

Being a parent is never easy. Kongkong anak untuk selamatkan anak. But anak akan tipu sebab nak ikut kawan.

I have done that myself. I think it's important as a parent untuk explain, selalu borak, dan bercerita dengan anak²..
