On September 25, 2006 the first volume of the Suikoden V novels was published. It was written by Shinjiro Hori with illustrations by Kaori Fujita. There were eleven chapters, a character guide, a map, and a larger illustration.

On September 25, 2005 volume 1 of the Suikoden IV novel was published. It was the first of three volumes, and contained the first ten chapters of the story. It was written by Mie Takase with illustrations by Shou Yashioka.

On September 22, 2005, Rhapsodia
(Suikoden Tactics) was released in Japan for Sony PlayStation 2. It is set during the same timeframe as Suikoden IV and focuses on the Kooluk Empire and the origin of the Rune Cannons.

On September 15, 2000, Genso Suikoden Short Stories Volume 1 was published. There are six different short stories about Gremio, Alen and Grenseal, Milich, Varkas and Sydonia, Meg, and Viktor. Also included: a short comic and some 4-panel comics.

On August 9, 2004, Volume 16 of Genso Suikoden Genso Shinsho was published. It was the last issue in the series. It featured the soon to be released Suikoden IV. Check out the wiki for more scans and more information!
