Got a feeling the next Guilty Gear Strive announcement is gonna be a solo reveal this time. So, this time I'm guessing it'll be one of these 4:
Even if she's working solo on a majority of her missions, this cyborg lady has some serious style to her! Looking so lovely, 009-1.
So, I ended up getting to Cyborg 009: Call of Justice to complete my rewatch & aside from the 3D animation being a bit rough, it was surprisingly good for a follow up series. I liked the story & the looks for some of the cyborgs, plus it was pretty quick. With that, I'm all done.
The mystery was one I've heard before, Skull Man got little screen time, fights only got intense around the last couple of episodes & while I only read a few chapters of the OG manga, the characters weren't that memorable. I do appreciate the callbacks, but could've been better.
Finished my rewatch of The Skull Man & it was okay, but what a surprise twist of an ending. Wasn't able to connect it years ago, but after my Cyborg 009 rewatch, that finale got me hollering. Aside from that though, the series itself wasn't as interesting as I remember. (cont) https://t.co/KV4f6fdDGw
@RisingRabbit_ People have told me that they cut out some of the dragging parts of the series, but it's overall the same events. It's still ongoing & (18+ warning) it's done by the same creator behind the popular fanservice manga, To Love Ru.
Can we get my buddy @ForTrueStory to 400, y'all? The dude makes some awesome artwork & he's been open for commissions 24/7 for over a year now. He just needs 9 more!
Not gonna do it for the whole rewatch, but just for the 1st episode:
>Case of mystery deaths in a certain city & reporter Hayato Mikogami believes it's tied to a mysterious "Skull Man"
>Takes a train & picks up a mysterious girl
>Some backstory
>He appears & kills a man, but why?
