"...removing Engrish (though, you can still hear characters speaking it, so not a big deal)"
Lucy The Eternity She Wished For is an older Korean-original I was interested in. It seems to be another robot heroine dystopia drama but I am interested in this Korean writer's take on it.
I was mildly interested in Harmonia, as I am in most KEY stories. I've mostly heard it's basically just an inferior version of Planetarian, though. Might still check it out eventually, maybe on Steam Deck.
To Heart 2 is one of the older fantranslated romance works I see recommended from time to time. Honestly I don't even know what's special about it besides a few heroines getting praised by some fans online.
AzarashiSoft seems to get some hype (mostly for Amakano), so Aikagi did kind of get on my radar. I got the impression it gets pretty nukige-ish but it's hard to resist a feel-good childhood friend VN with decent art.
Damekoi or The Most Forbidden Love in the World seems interesting as a potential romance drama story. The protag and most of the heroines are adult age. Sadly... apparently the 'true' heroine is middle school age? Really? Killed lots of my interest.
I've considered a few Littlewitch VNs like Quartett and Littlewitch Romanesque for 1 reason: The unique usage of text bubbles for dialogue instead of ADV or NVL. This style has potential as like a voiced manga in VN form, but sadly hasn't been used much.
@BruceyyBruceyy It's only a handful of notes that kinda sound like it, but it first starts around 0:05 then shows up at a few other parts
