I love drawing hands; they hold a lot of expression and personality. I know a lot of people struggle with them, but using your own hands as ref really helps. I went from kind of knowing how to draw hands, to drawing more consistently withOUT ref. And I hope they only get better!

I always thought Season 5 would've closed with Steven & co. stuck on Homeworld, and Season 6 would be all about the CG's adjusting to their roles while doing their best to sway the Diamonds to spare Earth & cure corruption. Here's a concept of "Era 3 Amethyst"

Artist Confession: I love drawing hands😳

Trying out a "new method of painting hair" (really means I'm lost and am just experimenting)

man, coloring the skin definitely gives a better sense of density and mass, already :O
But yup, just a wip. Finally painting them shiny eyebrows again haha (the side patch of hair was real satisfying to color in)

Also I found some more ancient carvings in the timeline for my OC, Sharon. I guess you could say she's really developed over the years..
Jokes aside it really does show how far I've come from 2016 to now.
