I'm still a long way from the style I actually want to use, but this was fun practice!
Some more style tests. I think I'll probably go down the path of lined if only because I don't understand shapes.
Considering doing some kind of blog thing for this untitled gob sports game, showing off the game design and illustration developments.
But until then here's some art tests for JORTS DAN.
Even though the deck is themed around #GardenOfTheGiants you don't need any knowledge of it to appreciate the deck! I'm really happy with how the whole thing came together!
While I'm very happy with how the narrative/mechanics turned out, I think the big acomplishment for me on #PastelMelancholy is the illustrations.

I'm actually really proud of the monster-maker oracle tables I wrote for this!
Two connected pieces for #PastelMelancholy. The first is meant to be a portrait of the Witch before she moves to Ravenrock, and the second it her after she begins to mentor for the Apprentice and take in the Familiar.
Anyway, I'm actually pretty proud of some of the pen textures in this piece I finished up today.
