Painted some time ago, I have pushed my ideas in terms of backgrounds but I have generally been working in the same area for years... which is fine with me. 😊 This one is available as a card from my website.

Purely printmaking for this one as a completely handcrafted contrast to my digitally created collage yesterday....linocut with monoprint of lovely lapwings always a joy to watch, I see them mostly around the Hayle estuary in cornwall .

Looking back at crows... a cough this time seen at lizard point ...

Looking forward to spending sometime drawing again today with a focus on the crow family and maybe a few more of my girls for my strong women project...

TBT I painted this a long time ago, it began my use of pattern which I feel compelled to use still... I feel it kind of stands in for represents contemporary society or the Anthropocene... ???

Whilst I am trying to conjure up some warmth here is a pair of lapwkngs ... seen at Hayle estuary at this time of year, from a distance in flight they always appear to be black and white which belies their beautiful iridecant plumage.

I am going to pop my wildlife camera out again today, hopefully we can get some more foxy footage, would like to see a badger as well as I am sure they visit us... Watch this space . .. this is a little sketch in acrylic on paper.
