Done! This was tough. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted to do with this color-wise but I think I got there. The idea of her calmly putting on her spacesuit as a supernova goes off in the background was a fun one too.

Done! I don't plan my coloring a ton and it was an act of pure magic how the characters with a cooler palette ended on the left and how the warmer ones ended on the right AND how they match Gill's crossed arms. Serendipity is a wonderful thing.

SFV WIP3! I hesitated to post this because it's kinda all over the place right now. I need to do some lighting work, color balancing, add effects, etc, but hey, I've posted all my progress so far so figure I'll throw this out there too.

I did something similar to this about 2 years ago (it's my profile pic!) and it wasn't really my intention for this one to end up so similar to that one in palette and general concept. The old one took many hours to do though and this one was handled more loosely and quickly.

Hey, here’s something for Xmas! That has nothing to do with Xmas! I really wanted to do 12 Mario things this year but fell short at 11. Still, better take my time than rush it and I’ve been dying to do Hotsuma for a long time. PS2 Shinobi is so underrated. Happy Holidays, y’all!

This is the last big piece I’ve been working on. I might still post one or two more things but I’ve had the layout for this for at least 7 months so I’m glad to finally put it out there. Also, some process stuff. Hooray!

So I’m working on this piece that is taking forever so I dug into my Inktober pile and threw some color on this one to switch gears for a bit. Fun fact, I did zero actual shading here. Turns out, you can go a long way using layer styles on flats.
