I think starting spooky month with Akko from Little Witch Academia is appropriate, no?

Been working on this in basically half hour chunks for a couple of weeks and it’s done! Not only that but I really dig how it turned out so it’s up on my store. Link to store in profile. Hooray!

Already did Terry Bogard last time around so the only way I could use him again without repeating is to draw lady Terry Bogard. I guess there’s MOTW Terry Bogard too. Maybe I’ll draw him too. Terry Bogard is cool.

When in doubt, draw Dragon Ball. I don't think I've ever drawn Frieza which is kinda upsetting honestly. Also, I wish this palette had just a tiny bit more difference in values for its lighter colors but hey, I work with what I have.

I messed up last time cuz I don’t know how to count. This here is actually the 20th of these palette challenges. Making a thread out of these as I should have from the start. Hooray! Here’s Psylocke from the X-Men but, more importantly, from those cool CPS2 Capcom games. 20/100

And finally, the "what if I do this?" stage. Here, I did color balance (to make the ugly greys not grey), added more lighting and I copied the background and put it on top of the characters (with some masks and trying out different blending modes) to integrate the two better. (9)

I'm working on stuff I can't show yet and I'm dying to get back to drawing my own stuff too but, for now, I thought it'd be cool to show how I go from first sketch (left) to finished picture (right). I enjoy when people do this sort of thing so I'm hoping y'all will too! (1)

17 palettes down, 83 to go. OK, back to work now.

PS: Bulma is the most important character in Dragon Ball.

Using my full name I got a bunch of Pinterest reposts of old stuff I’ve done. D:
