This is a sort of in-between piece as I work on other, more time-consuming stuff. It’s good to take a break from drawing sometimes, even if it is with even more drawing.

Any similarities to the KOF 2000 intro are purely coincidental.

I lost 2 hours of work on my next Mario fight and was so upset I needed to move on to something else. As usual, this was meant to be a quick piece that turned into something more involved but hey, I'm happy with how this turned out so no complaints.

Working loose like this is just super relaxing. Putting a version of this piece before I added lighting stuff. I was planning on going for a more yellow palette as you can tell and I could still go either way honestly.

Thought I'd throw in those old versions for funsies. The first is 2012 and I did a good job for my skillset at the time but it hasn't aged well. The second one is 2015 and I just didn't have an interesting take on her. Tactile improvement is fun when doing repeat characters.

I've got a bone to pick with Captain Marvel, mainly that I tried to draw her in 2012 and then in 2015 and, frankly, I'm not a fan of how those turned out. So, with the movie out, now seemed a good time to try again and hey, Carol and me are cool now. Great movie too. 💪

Getting close to the halfway mark with these! Maybe I'll do one of the bosses next.

Plenty of references used here, mainly because I had no idea of where I wanted to go with this.

Yo, Hitman is gooood. I was going for something with the perspective here but I'm not sure I quite got there. Drawing is hard. Ruby Heart next maybe?

I learned recently that this year marks Darkstalkers' 25th anniversary and I'm so glad I started this series when I did. Here's Sasquatch, maybe Hsien-Ko next?
