Despite getting 4 games with #PloidSaga, none of them feel like they've been polished. It feels like a collection of experimental games from @NapeGames. I think the formula works and that there's a lot of potential here. But the lackluster level design is what kills it for me.
What if Earth was destroyed and you, an astronaut, are set to revisit the ruins of a former Soviet civilisation? #TheGreatPerhaps lets you time-travel between past and present to solve clever platform-puzzles in an impressive world. A great short adventure on future Earth! 👨🏽🚀🚀🌎
#EdnaAndHarveyTheBreakoutAnniversaryEdition is a great (visual) improvement over the original. @Daedalic's classic point and click adventure gameplay combined with a crazy though enjoyable plot make this a joy to play through for fans of the genre, be it somewhat predictable. 🤯
#HimAndHer is a puzzle-platformer that revolves around changing gravity to reach the end of a level. Whereas I enjoy this in concept, the experience felt lackluster. The presentation is monotone, and levels mind numbing until the end. I hope @qubytegames can rework this concept.
I don't know if you should love or hate soccer to appreciate #BeholdTheKickmen's sarcastic approach to the sport, but I know I love it! Both the storyline and the gameplay are soccer on steroids. And as your team gradually gets better, it makes the matches even more fun! ⚽
#ColtCanyon is a game that will kick you down, a difficult topdown roguelike 2D pixelart-shooter by @Retrific & @HeadupGames. You must rescue your partner while barrages of enemies hinder you. It's easy to die and some practice is required, but it's also fun and chaotic!
#TowagaAmongShadows feels like a game where the art should have been attached to something else. @SunnysideGames & @ForeverEntert made something visually stunning, but gameplay wise it's a simple arcade waveshooter. I'm left wanting more, but enthousiastic for future projects!
Indeed, #StrangersOfThePower3 really does feel like a 90's JRPG with modern graphics! Despite being a bit clunky and rough, you can feel @GamesTuomo's joy and passion in making this. In the end, it's an enjoyable 3-hour experience for those who like retro-styled JRPG's! 🗡🛡
#Heroki feels like an interesting take by @picomy on the #YoshisIsland series: the challenge being finding all the collectibles in a level, rather than simply finishing them. Though stage-designs are lackluster at times, the game is visually bright and enjoyable to play!
#DemonsTier+ by @DiabolicalGame & @COWCATGames gives me something I don't see many #roguelikes have: a fun narrative to follow whilst playing. This with varied gameplay options for exploring and combat. If you like roguelikes or top-down adventure games, definitely get this game!
