Tipu Sultan is remembered as a heroic freedom fighter and warrior-king. He was the last ruler in India strong enough to dictate terms to the British. Known as Tiger of Mysore, he fought long and hard, although ultimately unsuccessfully, to preserve his country's independence.
Queen Chand Bibi, wife of Ali Adil Shah and regent of Ahmadnaga Sultanate was one of the bravest women in India's history. She defeated Mughal forces while defending Ahmadnagar. She used to fight aggressively in every war forced upon her.
Hafiz Rahmat Khan (1723–1774) was the foremost Ruhilla nawab in India. He ruled across Rohilkhand and beyond from 1749 to 1774. He served throughout the reign of 3 #Mughal Emperors Ahmad Shah Bahadur, Alamgir II & Shah Alam II. He was also a mentor of Prince Mirza Jawan Bakht.
