Experimenting further with Slice the Rainbow Layer Cake Dragon- I was trying to figure out how their expressions work, but I think I need to go even simpler, and possibly return to Illustrator with them because the line art seems to be extremely crucial to the core design

I made Gen 1 Pokemon style sprites of my main account Neopets a couple days ago! It was my first time trying to mimic that style, and I'm fairly proud with how they turned out- I always forget how much fun spriting can be until I pick it up again.

ended up choosing lets go pikachu, so here are some pikachus drawn in celebration of this decision

disco and swamp gas centibyte! i love disco pets, but swamp gas is... my least favorite paint brush color, I think (i have to wonder what the thought process was- was there really a demand that needed filling??) Both were really fun to color though!!

ice, pirate, and toy- might redo pirate later, im not good with clothing design and fashion and so it just kinda looks like they’re wearing a track jacket. might go with, like, the more cartoony red-and-white striped shirt and bandana aesthetic.
