Okay last thing and then I'll shut up about this, but I threw some animations and sound on it just for fun 😁
Bonus color and layer adjustments because I accidentally turned off one of the color layers while I was saving this and kind of liked the blue ghostly sort of effect, and then wanted to see black and white too, just for fun.
When you're supposed to be writing but instead you throw the whole day away on character art that involves complicated lighting you have to teach yourself how to do.
No regrets. I had way too much fun with this and I'm pretty darn happy with how it turned out.

I commissioned the lovely @xephtastic to do some character portraits for my YA fantasy novel. Here are the three I've had her do so far: Amar, Kesari, and Aleida, the story's 3 POV characters. They turned out soooooo good! She nailed their expressions & personalities perfectly ❤
Someone in our neighborhood lost their pet python, like it escaped and they can't find it. Maybe I shouldn't laugh, but the terrified Facebook comments are great fun for someone like me who isn't really bothered by non-poisonous snakes. 😏
Every time I wash my hair, put some product in it & have to let it air dry (the blowdryer just makes it super frizzy) it looks *terrible*, just super limp & blah, & I have a bit of a panic leaving the house. But inevitably by afternoon my curls are like, "Yo, we're heeeeeeere!!!"
