Another outtake from my shoot with legendary photographer who was born on this day in 1933. Adams is remembered for his portraits and for his coverage of 13 wars. Not many people can do both as well as he could.

Music Monday 🎵 Mallrat (oldie but a goodie)
"You got a little bit high
You're looking better than I
Better, better
I need you feeling better
And the sun was in my eyes
But it's home is in the sky
And I couldn't ask for anything
You're always on my side"

The residue of surface touch
records our lives; the subjects pictured beneath
them record our culture. The prints, smears, and
stains are not just grime, but rather evidence of
flitting attention, a map of how we spend our time.

The images in Surface Tension encourage us to see our relationships with everyday technologies
in unexpected ways, highlighting the marks we
leave on glass screens — marks that we routinely
ignore or erase.

It's nice to be able to get the word out about my projects on social media -- but many of the compelling details of Surface Tension are lost in a JPG. These images are ready for their closeups.
