Returning to my roots with the darker colours. I feel like drawing my OCs with some kind of spook mood is a rite of passage for them now.

Experimenting a bit; I’m still deciding between toning vs colour, and cleaned sketches vs lined. At the moment I kind of like how this looks, but I’ll have to keep trying stuff out. I REALLY want to make sure I have everything settled before I start this time HAHA

My new OC ref sheet vs my old one I made in 2018. Not too much has really changed with their design over time actually! The colours got more muted and the hair softer, but overall everything’s about the same.

Idk what’s up with maids today (is today maid day (???)) but it inspired me to sketch calico in one of those outfits! I wanted to do a couple others as well, but I got hungry so I just stopped at her HAHA
