Not just the lyrics but the calm, peaceful delivery of the last lines in particular.

@fembrucewayne ... reintroduction, keeping her as a member of the family but not letting her be Batgirl or do anything of note. He even put her in the Outsiders so Jefferson, not him, could help her.

Shiva knows Batman has neglected Cass because she has done so herself, but is ready to change.

The page also has this nice and tender little moment between a proud mother and her spooky ninja gremlin daughter, which is nice, but also highlights my other beef with this run in general: it's a moment that feels redundant, both visually and in writing.

Also, I wanna take a second to talk about something totally unrelated, which is how much I love this bit from Jefferson. In an issue that started with Batman going "It's over, Ra's" like he has said a thousand times before, this bit right here is extremely cathartic. But...

And honestly, it's hard not to read Shiva's words to him through a metatextual lens. To Shiva, Bruce hasn't given Cass enough. He keeps her at arm's length and puts her on teams and seems to care, but not believe in her being able to stand on her own two feet. But...

While Cass is doing everyone's work for 'em, Shiva seizes the opportunity to call Batman out, to his face, in the middle of a battle for the future of the entire planet, on how much he has neglected Cass.

And Bats, being a smart cookie, completely agrees with her.

And like back then, we finally get another bit of Fighty Cass. Although with the mask it's kinda hard to tell if she's smiling. I'd like to believe she is.

... and Shiva tells Cass to fuck 'em up.

Ok, maybe not with those exact words, but the sentiment is there!

... that Ra's doesn't even try to fight them, relying instead on the aforementioned alien doohickey to neutralize them so he can go deal with Jefferson. He leaves his new-new League of Assassins in charge of dealing with the Outsiders while he's gone...
