@empatheticcain There's exactly one good example and it's DCeased of all things.
... or just the ones they remembered. Until proven otherwise, I believe there wasn't a conscious effort to make Shiva look like a joke.
But that lack of consideration is still harmful. And turning Shiva into a joke for a cheap gag isn't new and was never funny.
@batgirlchuu All in the same issue, too! Batgirl V1 was built different.
@blkgriot Jamal Campbell's Mercy is just exceedingly pretty.
Checked out the new SUPERMAN #1 on a whim and not gonna lie, I loved it. The premise and writing are solid, but Jamal Campbell's art is absolutely the star here. Super expressive, super readable, just super. One page in particular made me smile like a doofus.
10/10 Mercy too.
I know I got some followers who are into the alt cover biz. Anyone can lend a hand with this? https://t.co/mbHYVrdEBw
I love how White Canary's last (to this day) comic book appearance is her fighting Tawky Tawny. And looking incredibly confused about it. https://t.co/ZkXapjPrtD
We're in like the sixth heatwave of the year so far and I'm feeling it now, Spongebob.
Anyone got some freezing cold takes about Lady Shiva I can use to chill? Anybody? The colder the better.
@AGeekForFun Tim is an alright character built around a perfectly fine premise, but I viscerally detest him for being the first and most blatant case of using Shiva to hype someone else up at her character's expense. The more time passes, the more grotesque I find it.
