"So, I understand that my daughter is now part of a team of Batgirls, correct?"
"Uhhh yes, totally!"
"How delightful. Despite my reservations, it is true that she was never quite as happy or strong as when she bore that name."
"R-right."
"... that IS her current codename, no?" https://t.co/lIQtXX7P88
I got no idea what's going on in the Bat-titles right now but I dig this Oldboy-ass cover. Having two backups is cool too, especially if they're one-shots. Nice way of practising story compression.
And hey, Karl Mostert is there! Good man, that.
Anyway, some stuff that caught my eye:
Always, ALWAYS down for some Wild West action. Loving Clark's design here too, with the retro symbol and gaucho hat. Good stuff!
@MisterShoebox Well, she was having a bit of unconsciousness when he tried to off himself, but she did take his daughter under her wing (although that didn't take either), so it's a bit hard to tell if she respected him or just saw the chance to get herself an apprentice.
@AlexJaffe A very Shaw Bros kung fu flurry that ends with a high damage two-finger heart-stopping punch.
If the attack finishes the opponent off, round over.
But if the opponent has even a pixel of health left, Shiva punches them in the chest and restarts their heart to keep fighting.
I hate it when the @GailSimone / @TomTaylorMade feud heats up again because I have to choose between an evergreen run that more or less introduced Lady Shiva to the larger DCU & remains one of her most popular versions, or that time she kicked Jason Todd square in his hairy chin.
@BobbyLSinger Shiva would probably end up with a hi-tech version of the armors from Legendary Amazons. Tho she'd probably refuse to wear a helmet.
