We saw Dune back when it first hit theatres and it was the weirdest experience because we went in, immersed ourselves in a desert themed movie, and then walked outside the theatre and into the biggest downpour. Talk about contrasts.

Silly, ridiculous pre-coffee scribble sketch. Mr. Pink the little Haro robot from Gundam Seed is a bit of a favourite of mine. Given the option I'd have a whole batch of Mr. Pinks that I could launch via cannon at certain people.

I know a lot of people who've been feeling stuck in a rut and are going into this year with great intentions of facing their struggles and overcoming. Me too, with any luck. So this year's art piece features Jahrd getting up there and facing his destiny.

Suggest-A-Sketch - Sharing
There was a suggestion for Thanksgiving regarding meals and giving thanks, and then for Christmas the idea of a precious gift. And I thought: Derec and Jamet encapsulate that whole thing.

I can't really fill out one of those monthly art retrospectives because 2021 was a roller coaster for me. The first 8 months were comics-made-while-yelling, then a couple of months of forgetting how to human, then somehow it was December?
