i still think it's a little uncanny how similar she looks to sienna, even down to the hair accessory (sienna has the same hoop in her hair as his mom it's just offscreen)

maybe sugawara just has a thing for this kind of older woman. even then sienna's like mid 20s but yknow

i used to really not like this style, key's early works (well mostly i saw it from kyoani's adaptations even though they're beautifully animated)

but now i like it. the huge eyes almost parallel with the nose and the mouth so high up on the face.. it's interesting. nostalgic
