@GailSimone One thing I loved about George Perez was that he drew women with distinct, recognisable features. I know that sounds nuts, but contrasted with someone like John Byrne, it really stood out to me. You could recognise Perez' Donna Troy out of costume.

@andypoondesign Weird question, but was a version of the 2016 Legends concept art that appeared in the SDCC EW where the extra layer with Ray's 3/4 turned face isn't accidentally turned on ever released?

TIL that the talons on Maleficent's wings are actually most likely 'thumbs', at least in as much as her wing design borrows from the only other flying mammal, bats. OK, and Disney's #Gargoyles.
