The most noticeable thing about Birder's style is just how much fun it is. It makes me so happy every time I look at it, and, true to its impression it's almost as much fun to attempt. I've never seen anything like it before or since, but there are so, so many tiny tiny lines 😭

Never underestimate the amount of work that goes into a snowyroxx22 drawing - never. No amount of knowledge of anatomy, line confidence or study can prepare a person for this - nothing obeys "the rules" and yet everything is so simple, intentional and perfect.
...Never again.

I feel like if this challenge really takes off and lots of people end up doing it, Anabel's mutuals might "conveniently forget about her", on account of her apparently possessing the powers of some ancient art deity. So, I willingly volunteer as tribute to embarrass myself.

So it seems I forgot about anatomy in the early stages and couldn't bring myself to go back, which killed it immediately since Pilot's anatomy is always so on point.
But, there are nose boops and a photograph background.

I decided one day a year and a half ago that I wanted to learn to draw, and this was the best way I could think of to make me keep practicing regularly. For that reason, it also serves as a sort of "diary", which only adds to my regret at the earliest pages.

@IMCzine @AradiaCollect Britain has several in prose novellas aimed at young girls. Most of these are written in bulk by several writers under a single pseudonym, and come and go by the year.
One example, however stands head and shoulders above the rest:

I started learning to draw last year, and since then making a comic has been the best way I've found to make myself practice regularly.

I compose music mostly, but artists are fun to hang around with, so I draw a comic for a bit of fun, and design my own cover art.
