I finished that #pokefusion I got bayleef and xatu. Some of you were pretty close with meganium! I made a feathery sauropod-ish thing. Though it ended up looking more tortoise-ish.

A semi realistic version and a smoll stylized one. I prefer the head shape on the stylized one.

I'm an artist interested in creature design and fantasy illustration. I mainly use traditional media these days including pencil, watercolour and postercolour. Birds and dragons are a particular favorite! Links below-

Painted that Caiman sketch from earlier! I don't usually paint reptile scales like this but I felt like it wouldn't look like Caiman without the extra scaly detail.

Continuing on the junicorn theme with this scruffy grey and gold unicorn.
Trying to go with a sort of oil painting look with this.

This'll be made into wooden charms and stickers in the near future!

Not taking part in Junicorn but I want to have some fun with it! Trying to paint a complex big animal with a bg in a little a5 sketchbook wasn’t the best idea though.
This unicorn is based on pega donkeys and deer.

Using nicker poster colours again and trying to figure out how much detail I should use with more stylized figures. Had fun with the feathers!

So glad I took a chance on this paint! It’ll be great for when I need do a bit more layering and detail but still have a watercolour feel. Its pretty easy to blend and mix and my god its vibrant.
