After a failed attempt at trying to paint these in watercolour I've decided I'm gonna paint these digitally. Here's the messy underpainting before I start painting over the sketch.

Made this silly looking gliding reptile in the end. I don’t think it could really fly and instead glides along on wind currents. It reminds me of dunsparce!

Its that inky time of year! And although I’m not doing inktober I want to explore traditional inking this month.

I got a #scrawlrbox subscription and the theme for this month was "Feeling Buggy." So here's a bee fairy critter on her way back home from a day of collecting pollen

This little challenge has warmed me up to ink and watercolour washes, might do more later! #scrawlrchallenge

Bookwyrms! Their appearance changes depending on the kind of books they live in and they can travel between the book worlds and the real world (kind of like Inkspell/Pagemaster)

These might be tweaked a bit. I want to make a series of bookmark and charm designs with these guys

#4styles A mix of digital and traditional and semi realistic to stylized. Its good to experiment and try new things, you never know when you'll find a tool or technique you'll love!

@Etsy Here's the original art! I feel like a bunch of really cool new and returning monsters got released after I made these aghh! But I think I’m done with these for now and if I do make more, they’ll be in a different style.
