Inspired by the throat display anole's do

Schmincke watercolours and coloured pencils.
B5 Arches hot press paper.

Still experimenting with the coloured inks. They're a bit more fiddly to mix and prepare so I'm just using very limited colours. I don't see them replacing my good old watercolours for that reason. The layers won't lift when dry though so that might be useful for some folk!

Greater Monkey Imp
Larger cousin of the smaller monkey imp, based on gelada baboons.
The spines still sting but they are much less potent. Its main weapons are its teeth and its strength.

An imp like creature based on monkeys.
The spines on their tails have a painful sting with a burning like sensation.
