@hyxpk a big hearty OOF for all these poor koi fish and having to be involved in some shenanigans.

although, strangely, they do resemble that small catfish that art mom had when she was found by eldest nun and pancake nun.

@hyxpk so before dropping her daughter off at the convent, art mom must have taken a photo of her and then painted it. unless she did it by memory alone.

poor little chili nun looks so anxious and scared, understandably so.

fortunately, a friend met her that day.

@hyxpk If art mom was the one who wrote the message on the wall then it's possible she was motivated by her own homelessness in wanting to be a great artist.

She didn't want chili nun to experience the hardship she did as a starving artist.

And in some ways, she succeeded.

@hyxpk i get the feeling we'll be seeing star nun smile throughout this whole week. she's trained this far to make her mentor proud once more.

no more catching catfish, this time it's a salmon showdown.

i hope she does well and that her smile is protected.

@hyxpk I wonder if this is the same duck that joined art nun/chili mom when she left the convent. it definitely looks aged.

If so, not only is it still around but has a descendant in the form of a red-beret art duck.

@hyxpk quite the harrowing car journey. so much energy (and food) lost that not even cute dogs could get them to rise.

even frog nun is out for the count and *not* trying to recuit the dogs into the ribbit ribbit gang.

@hyxpk so much for the duck limit rule. at least the five nuns going won't be lacking for pillows to sleep on during the whole trip.

@hyxpk a van huh? since they're bringing out the big guns for this trip, I assume the entire arc will be laid out for the whole week.

while the can isn't fully indicative of the time period, it does lean on being 70s-80s now.
