At No. 6 it’s When the Sky Falls by @philearle Another Historical fiction-what an emotive book. It is full of heart, the pain of the characters is so sensitively described, it’s is beautifully written. This book is still with me months after reading it.

At No. 8 it’s The Valley of Lost Secrets by @WelshDragonParr which is a brilliant historical mystery story. I loved this when I read it early in the year and I loved it even more when I reread it to my class in the autumn term-they were so engaged

Really enjoyed reading this with my class this term and falling in love with Jimmy, Ronnie, Florence and the Thomas’ again. The children have loved the story and characters and the mystery. The reaction when they realised where the skull came from was priceless. Brilliant book
@jonnybid First book my class chose was the infinite lives of Maisie day which always goes down well, we followed that with Freddie Yates which they also loved and we started After the War today which is completely different but I’m hoping they will get a lot out of. #OUPRfPBookBlether
