Here is the process of creating the silhouette of the oni/ogre. It was greatly inspired by the Final Fantasy logos.
After receiving an Olympic-styled logo idea from @FeenBuddy (white on red, ->image 4) I came up with a smoothed trophy that would include a Pokéball inside a ring. The big body and the o-shape remind of a person, posing with their hands above their (pokéball-) head in victory.
I first went with geometric shapes that looked like wearable badges the winners of the tournament could be awarded. The inspiration came from Splatoon 2's golden toothpick. As it is a German Pokémon event, I also experimented with a Braviary, inspired by Germany's coat of arms.
#BlueArt I'm the type of person that doesn't save his old paintings so I illegally download my pictures from my own website that has picture download protection on it
I also don't use much blue
@SplatoonNews Our band has no name yet, but my pals already made some tracks that I want to make cover art for after I'm done with all of the other projects
