EVERY TIME you tell me that you felt something real and spiritual when complimenting my work - I AM FULFILLED, my legacy is more firmly established with each compliment. My work is created to express my heart, my love, my idea of the intriguing elements of my people -

and I brought forth a rendition that consisted of excellence in my mind - brown eyes, decidedly pronounced noses, full lips, hips and swagger.

When you view my work, i hope, WITH EVERYTHING IN ME, that you see the Blackness in the depictions. Your Blackness, my Blackness,

Wanted to freestyle another AfrAm Mask (that’s what I’ve decided to call them) completely freestyled…no sketch, just the ball of clay and some soul guidance. This is faaaar outside of my comfort zone, and I’m TOTALLY in love with it.
