i love the hakama bow tie and sash, as well as the obi shime being thick and reminiscent of the tasuki-like rope he had around his shoulder before

his hat looks incredible. i'm really excited to see it from the top, it looks so pretty and like starry? uwaaahh

the new placement of his leaf ornament reminds me a lot of kazuha's yuigesa tassel too. i guess he had a tassel there before too, but idk, i just thought it was neat. he's had both parts of kazuha's ornament, the tassel and the yuigesa, but at different points in time.

I also JUST noticed this but... the gold ornaments that attach the ribbons to his hat look VERY familiar huh... theres no way this is a coincidence

The EN VA did such a good job... this line (and the "MY MOTHER" one) particular really stood out 😭

The way he's shown being violently dropped in front of the Shakkei Pavilion was so heartbreaking. Even though Ei didn't do it with bad intentions, you can obviously understand how this is the impression her actions would leave on him... guhh my heart.
