Question for any #digitalartist who has the time to help a beginner out.
I'm a pixel artist looking to try regular digital art. What would be a good beginner project?
I'm hoping to become a character & landscape artist. Would drawing every #Pokemon from simple to complex be good?

Here's some of my stuff. As you can tell, I don't really have a style, I try to mix things up as much as I like.
It's really cool to see someone who really comitted to one style!

I've been wanting to try portraits, but I didn't have the confidence. It turned out pretty decent, I think.😌

@ZealZaddy Hi, I'm Paul. I'm a pixel artist who takes inspiration from gameboy era games and D&D. No comms, I like doing stuff for fun.
Did a whole bunch of characters last year, but I found out that I prefer doing landscapes, so I've mainly been practicing. Not a lot of content rn.

@Uriakart I don't have an lot of art for my char yet. He's a young Satyr paladin, kinda clueless about the world. If you're okay with mild nudity, he might be an interesting subject.
I alternatively have another char, but no refs and he's a little more edgy and a lot less sexy.

@Uriakart I always want to say a lot about what I make, so just dropping stuff while not saying a word is really challenging. 🤐

@SaskleArt @artcher_artwork Here's a Dragon Turtle I did for a challenge. Didn't turn out the way I wanted, but when you're on a time limit, there's only so much you can do.
Maybe you can do better than me?
