I fucking did it at last!! Most people won't even notice, but damn... that was way more trouble than it should have been.
Now the only problem is, I have to undo it so I can redo it differently 😂

Found a hip join solution I'm happy with. It's a bit smaller, but doesn't look too weird. Think I've finished with it now. Going to need a few supports, but I can't really find a better way.

Bit of an update thanks to finding some killer reference pics. Feels like I should be nearing the end, but I fell down that deep dark hole of detail, so still a ways to go yet
