Not tired yet so I made this because I keep thinking about #pokemon - some takeaways:

- outside of move mechanics I did not care for Gen 4 and 6 much
- I really like all of Gen 3/5
- Gen 7 has best bug bois
- Pokemon designs overall are getting more and more unique tbh

Since the favorite starter #pokemon thing is a thing and Sword/Shield news still feels fresh, here's my favorite list

Gen 8 is an even-numbered gen, therefore I cannot like the grass type apparently

Froakie almost had it for XY but I actually picked Fennekin in-game
