I had mapped this out ahead of time, but decided that the eyes and the feathers atop the wings would be the main focal points of illuminance.

This was designed so you will feel intimidated and haunted by this creature. The color scheme and luminance ALWAYS will set your mood.

Phase 3 of my creative process always includes color. I’ve studied color theory and value in depth and it is how I make these digital paintings pop. The 4th & final phase will be adding a radiant effect around the eyes and feathers. https://t.co/fwKnwVEaiH

Before @jeffSARRIS helped push this project into what it is today, I once took under the artist alias (c.2019). When I was having difficulty finding direction Jeff found some old art in the archives and asked me why I had torched the idea and what was badfroot all about? 🧵
