If you think about it, Zuko learned how to give life-changing field trips from Iroh. When he left the Fire Nation to the end of Season 2 was basically one big Field Trip with his Uncle. So Toph didn't need one from Zuko because she already got one from Iroh.

Honestly I think the character I am most interested in seeing when we get into Hazbin Hotel proper is Vox. Vivzie even headcanoned Mark Hamill as his voice actor and given the kind of talent she managed to get for HB I can see it happening.
