After Daemon’s death Dark Sister which he put through Aemond’s eye was retrieved and given to Daemon’s grandson, Aemon the Dragonknight, “a knight worthy to bear Dark Sister.”
Later the sword was bestowed upon Daemon’s great-grandson, Brynden Rivers, also known as Bloodraven.
Fun fact: Lady Sam Tarly, Ormund Hightower’s widow, who convinced Lyonel Hightower to return the Crown’s gold and not support Alicent and the Greens after the Dance promising to marry him comes from two houses that fought for Rhaenyra: Tarly and Rowan.

Fun fact: Rhaenyra is also an ancestor of House Blackfyre through her grandchildren, Daena (daughter of Aegon III and Daenaera) and Aegon IV (son of Viserys II and Larra Rogare), whose son Daemon Blackfyre founded the house.

King Aegon III had five children with Daenaera. Rhaenyra’s line continued through her son Viserys II. Daenerys and Jon are his descendants.
Aegon II’s surviving child was killed by his loyalist. His line ended.
