riven is one of the most complex characters of the show and the best written male. equally, he has an actual personality and isn't just a cliche. he stands on its own with defined characteristics. this is why he's the superior specialist. thanks for coming to my ted talk

there's plenty of animated series who even though, appeal to kids, have amazing plot, excellent storytelling and good execution so much so that they appeal to EVERYONE. kids aren't dumb. they can understand complex series

i'm not saying it's going to be exactly the same as such kid shows but let's be real; winx club doesn't care about it's older audience anymore. their target is kids lower than 6. no 'mature' show has this sort of time interval because it leaves no room for proper storytelling

it's very clear that the time interval per episode was reduced to 13 minutes in order to appeal to kids... the series will also probably stop following the 'continuous storyline' scheme it used to have and will adopt a formula which other kids shows follow e.g teen titans go

6. archeron: i love the concept of him being a powerful ancient demon locked in the legendarium and host to insane dark magic abilities... but that's literally the only thing he has? a cute concept. his execution was terrible and it's a shame. very forgettable character

10. diaspro: i love diaspro's concept. she had the potential for a great arc after s3 whether it was a redemption arc or a comeback as a proper villain. unfortunately, the writers ruined her and made her the basic obsessed ex who can't get over a man and comes back every time
