If you know Suetsugu’s process for the covers for Chihayafuru then you’d know they are digital collages (with the characters / flowers being drawn separately) but the vol 49 cover.. she went HARD and drew a whole scene for Taichi 😭 THE ONLY COVER LIKE THAT TOO DJDHDB

Main couple was cute. Friends to lovers although like they went to lovers a bit too quick but it’s fine their relationship was wholesome enough. Their problems were always external lol.

So I’m rereading Cheese in the Trap and it’s so much fun reading two series by the same manhwa author b/c something Soonkki loves is the story beat “what if one character wants nothing to do with the other and then they are forced to sit next to each other in class 👀” FJENDHDJDN

Caught up with After School Lessons for Unripe Apples and MY GOD is Soonkki the best at slow burns and like the best at incorporating flashbacks ?? She’s the same author as Cheese in the trap and at first I was kinda put off by her new style but NO I LOVE IT SO MUCH NOW CJEJDHD

Finished Hooky the other day and it was VERY GOOD. I LOVED all of the characters and though I preferred P1 over P2 the conclusion to this story was great and parts of it made me cry holy crap. I will be buying the rest of the physicals as they release.

I’m currently on ch 36 of 🍏 WHY IS SOONKI THE MASTER AT SLOWBURN WRITING CHARACTERS THAT ARE SO BELIEVABLE AND MISCOMMUNICATION THAT IS ENDEARING AND FUNNY 😭 like NOBODY ELSE DOIN IT LIKE HER
