Part of a fanzine and our artist profiles are #dnd versions of ourselves. Elliot suggested I draw myself as a changeling, which is perfect because the whole black diaspora/adoption thing has never made identity easy or concrete.

Home is a wordless comic that tries to communicate the complexity of how important people can continue to be to each other long after they have parted. We made the comic for our first #vancaf in 2017. We’re planning to pitch a more thorough version of the story for publication!
