@caitlike Yeah they don't do a lot of grasping their emotional realities. I think a part of this is the style, especially of older Shonen. If Stardust was done now I think they'd tackle things a lot more.

While posting inspiration art on @crownsgrave I went down a rabbit hole of Secret of Mana art in Nintendo Power. Wow. Who..did this? It's so raw and vivid. There's no way this was commissioned just for the magazine?

This made the game so much more vivid for me.
