🥰❤️It's #ValentinesDay and we love a story where love is in the air! Here are a few of our favourites that we have planning sequences for. Which are your favourites?
🔰We are LOVING working with delegates online from Brussels to Vietnam and Wales to London this morning in the first of our sold-out #TeachThroughaText autumn training sessions. Y1 are exploring the approach first by looking at the stunning The Sea-Saw @TomPercivalsays altogether
It’s the #InternationalDayofDemocracy and better book to look at than Suffragette? It tells such a powerful part of history & we are so pleased this is part of the #LiteraryCurriculum. Look at some of the brilliant work the planning sequence has helped produce! #TeachThroughaText
One of our favourite illustrations by @QuentinBlakeHQ in the BFG is of the breakfast scene with the Queen where she was depicted with real warmth and wit ❤️ #RIPQueenElizabeth
We have chosen some really special books for our book-based catch up materials. These are designed to track back to key objectives from previous year groups whilst continuing with the year group’s objectives. All of them are available to school members. https://t.co/S92dfJq0Iy
In our new Reception sequence for Weirdo, we celebrate individuality as the children arrive to class to find that the role-play area has been set up as The Be Yourself Boutique. They think about what it means to be yourself before sharing the story. https://t.co/DC5biHxmAc
Our latest planning sequence is for Toys in Space by the brilliant Mini Grey @Bonzetta1. Children immerse themselves into the book, writing 'Found' posters for some toys and create invitations and offer advice before creating their own narrative. https://t.co/H6T3RKYNL5
We are really enjoying working with Y4 teachers and looking at the language within our exemplified text 'The Mermaid of Zennor' and a letter has arrived from the mermaid as well! #TeachThroughaText #TheMermaidofZennor #CPD
What's the truth about wolves? In our planning sequence for Wolves by Emily Gravett a character asks the children to help them find out what is fact and what is fiction so they create a leaflet to educate the townsfolk about wolves to keep them safe! https://t.co/AuW5CIOS3Y
Plan for Recover and Catch Up with our series of book-based sequences written to engage and inspire children to write whilst looking back on objectives from previous years https://t.co/S92dfJq0Iy
