What’s Mjollnir’s one flaw?
The handle is too short. (Loki turned into a gadfly & stung the blacksmith in the eye while it was being forged.)
Loki got his mouth sewn shut for it.
So... even?

In the Iliad, Poseidon drives a chariot drawn by "brazen-hoofed horses over the sea's surface."
Apollonius said the horses of Poseidon emerged from the sea & galloped across the Libyan sands.
Part horse / part fish: HIPPOCAMPUS.

KELPIE
An evil water monster. It could be an old or young man, but preferred the form of a black/gray horse with sparkling eyes.
Would take riders into the loch, devouring all but the entrails.

CHANGELING
The fairy child left behind in place of the stolen human child. Putting it in a fire would cause it to jump up the chimney, thus returning the human child.
Best be sure it's a changeling.

A European fable about South America. A Spanish priest wrote that in 1602 that he'd seen the shining jewel in its forehead. He and many others attempted to capture it, to no avail.
That is its only description.

NEUGLE
Fearsome water-horse from Scalloway. It had a green mane & weird wheel tail. Appearing saddled on the beach, tempting riders who'd be taken into the sea. Sometimes fatal... sometimes just for a good drenching.
