It's #WorldJellyfishDay today so of course we had to share some beautiful illustrations of our gelatinous friends. These are just a couple of the many drawings by Ernst Haeckel we have in the library @thembauk

Today we remember the incomparable Dr Marie Lebour, born #OnThisDay in 1876. Her infectious love of nature was a true gift to the MBA during her many dedicated years, in addition to over 40 publications and a beautiful collection of watercolours and sketches.

Look what I have found today. Published in 1966 and bringing back happy memories of my childhood library. How times have changed and how important to hold the records reflecting those changes.
