Aaaand for progress sake, here is old art to show how my journey is going.
First picture is when I just started, first time I drew this.
Second one is when I attempted a piece like I did today.
Day 102 of learning digital art!
This is Rexton Blacktalon, my bard :D
Here he is pictured with his familiar, Dreams. Dreams is made of arcane magic. I also had WAY TOO MUCH FUN with the bunny design x3

@DiannaLGunn Mine is dystopic/dark urban fantasy if you're interested ^^
Life as we know it changes forever when vampires emerge from the shadows, bringing magic & mayhem with them. Can some unusual heroes save their city in this chaos?

I fixed my REALLY stupid mistake with this piece, and now it looks much better.
His collar bone was far too low. I am still learning anatomy, and realized that was throwing me off. Luckily, I was able to go back and fix it.
This is Ares, my vampire OC.
@ShiroiShi888 Thanks for this chance! I'll try for my half dragon, Sam Viper.
@ace_of_dragons Cool thanks for this! :)
I'm a new artist. This is my progress after 100 days of art (I only count days I do art) from 0 prior experience at all. Been quite a journey, and I'm looking forward to where I am next year. I started in March 2020.
For comparison sake (ugh), here are the older drawings I did of him.
First one: When I started
Second: Most recent aside from this
I hate looking back at my old and far worse art, BUT I can see clear progress, which is the major thing!
Day 100 of learning digital art! It's Ares!
One of my main OCs is my 100th-day-finished-drawing ^^
He is the lead protagonist of "The Dancing Crow", a book I wrote.
And he's a good bean!
Anyway, I tried clothing texture here more, and fine details with lines.
OH RIGHT REFERENCE PICTURES FOR COMPARISON
So these are previous pieces of mine, to show my improvement thus far.
First one: When I just started.
Second: most recent aside from this one.
@Akanetto2 Thanks for this chance! I will try for Sam Viper, my half-dragon character :)
