For a while Clark didn’t let Kon know the *Clark* side of him, but at that time Kon ONLY existed as Superboy, it was a complicated situation. Clark later helped Kon *create* a civilian self, & welcomed him into that part of life.

The bad dad Clark thing just kills me every time. Dubbilex is who Kon saw as a dad in his early days of existing, not Clark. Clark & Kon saw each other as *family* but not father & son (because originally they weren’t at all) + Clark never rejected Kon.
